Do It Yourself Tip: This Festive Season Enhance Your Home With Strings of Lights!


Many people probably associate strings of lights with the festivals. But a simple string of lights can be such a great whimsical, playful, modern or simple home decor accessory any time of year.

As a bonus it's a great source of light — imagine that.

There are some great variations and styles of stringed lights out there these days.
  • Wrap a vintage ladder with some white lights for style & enjoy the ambience.
  • Make them part of your living room art.

Easy & Amazing Tips to Dye Drapes!



You can start with some 100% cotton drapes, a bucket, some rubber bands and some dark blue fabric dye. That's all you need!
  • Mix dye according to package directions, in large bucket.
  • Scrunch lower quarter of drapes and fasten with rubber bands to create tie dye effect.
  • Dip lower quarter of drapes into dye and let sit according to directions.
  • Carefully remove drapes and rinse dyed portion in the sink.
  • Let it dry. Voila!

Do It Yourself Tips Remote Possibilities!


Keep the clicker in easy reach of your armchair quarterback with this no-sew pillow pocket.

  • You'll need: A throw pillow with a removable cover.
  • The pocket from a pair of jeans (men's work best size-wise).
  •  Fusible webbing (found at fabric stores).
  • Cut the whole pocket out of the pants.
  • Sandwich the webbing between the cover and back of pocket edges; iron layers together.
  • Put the cover back on, and settle in for the big game.
